MICHAEL HACKMAN FOR COMMERCIAL OBSERVER

A few weeks ago I got to photograph Founder/CEO Michael Hackman of Hackman Capital Partners at his Culver City offices.

This was a special one for me as I had no assistant for the day, the person that was to let me in was a no show and no one could reach her, then when I got in, I only had less than 15 mins to set up…no sweat.

We had a few laughs, I got a tour and we got some great shots.

MARC HOROWITZ FOR COMMERCIAL OBSERVER

Back in November I got an email about shooting Marc Horowitz for Commercial Observer. I was stoked to think that they were having me shoot the artist, but it seemed off to me. So I dug around a little bit and found that it would be a fellow New Yorker who just happens to kick ass in the real estate game.

Marc was being featured as he had just leased out the entire Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. PDC is now home to such tenants as A24, WeWork (who is leasing space to Ron Howard and Brian Grazer who will bring their film production company called Imagine Impact).

We were really pressed with time as there was no way of getting any set up time before Marc arrived, so when he arrived, he was ready to get moving. Oscar and I did a quick light test before we started rolling…

So, here we are, simple 3’ Octa off to camera left and we’re ready to roll!

JONATHAN LEE FOR COMMERCIAL OBSERVER

A few days after settling into my new place in Los Angeles, Kaitlyn at Commercial Observer emailed me to see if I could photograph Principal/Managing Director of George Smith Partners, Jonathan Lee at his office in Centruy City.

Here are a few of the selects.
